Digital Sight Aerial Photography Imaging is based in Pleasanton, CA, and flies out of Livermore (KVL) and Hayward. (HWD) airports.
We use digital photo equipment that provides you with exceptional detail. All shots are taken with dual Ken-Labs K-6 gyros to insure image sharpness.
Pre-Flight Check Lists precede all aerial assignments. When possible, we may choose to make an on-site inspection. The information we gather is used to prepare a checklist for our pilots and photographers who work together to meet the objectives of each assignment.
Once a location has been identified, we will provide you with a pre-flight layout of the angles, heights and extents of the images we will photograph. It allows us to fine tune all of the perspectives and view corridors before we fly. Once you verify the locations are exactly what you require, we will schedule the flight.
When your assignment is completed, we will post the images to our server in a slide show format allowing you to see what we have captured. Within two days, you will receive a DVD with your images.
On average, we will provide 20-50 color-balanced, horizon straightened images of your site in a JPG format.
Scheduling
While we make every attempt to complete each assignment in a timely manner, the primary rule which we follow strictly is "safety always comes first". We do not fly in inclement weather with restricted visibility or if wind speeds are excessive.
